What’s black, white and red all over? LOVERBOY’s AW23 collection, The Engine Room, presents an allegorical narrative set in the fictional city of Ajuka. Leading the city’s conversations are The Snakes, a legion of spineless gossip merchants disguised as news vendors, with newsprint outfits boldly reflecting the tools of their trade. This brings us to the newest, Snake-inspired, incarnation of the Art Denim Jeans, which are covered from top to toe in tabloid newspaper print, complete with scandalous photographs and crass headlines aplenty.
